• Please note that stargazing is a weather dependent product. Rain, cloud and strong winds, although unlikely, are a few of the weather elements that could lead to a cancellation of this service.
  • Tours may be cancelled at short notice due to changing weather conditions. The decision to cancel a tour is highly unlikely during Darwin’s Dry Season, but it is possible and this decision is solely at the discretion of the guide who is operating on that evening.
  • If the evening is cancelled or abandoned, guest will be offered a full refund or a ticket for another evening of their choice.
  • Once the evening commences, if cloudy conditions (intermittent or otherwise) occur during the course of the evening – no refunds are possible, we have alternative programs on standby.
  • We are unable to guarantee full clarity of the night sky.
  • On any given evening, the content of the scheduled program may change depending on weather conditions. Star Safaris cannot guarantee all guests will get to see all objects through the telescopes. In the case of partial cloud, we will continue to use whatever sky is visible.
  • Star Safaris recommends that guests take a jacket as some evenings can have a cool persistent breeze. Star Safaris can provide jackets if guest become cold, but these must be returned at the end of the evening.
  • Star Safaris sometimes conducts multiple viewing sessions during the course of the night. If guests wish to stay on and continue viewing into the next session, please notify the guide – if there are places available guests are welcome to stay on at no extra cost. However, we cannot always guarantee places will be available.
